Asset Store release: 1.1.0#
Tile Tick Movement 1.1.0 was released on 20 July 2026. Its Unity listing names 6000.0.34f1 as the original Editor version. View the official listing.
Use the changelog included with the downloaded package, or Unity’s Releases tab, for its detailed patch notes.
Standalone and Core-bundled Movement#
Core RPG includes Movement, and its development build can contain newer layered-surface APIs and different sample input wiring. If a field or control in this handbook differs from your standalone copy, follow that copy’s demo and README. Don’t import both implementations over each other.
Check a project after updating#
- Open a backed-up copy of a working scene and resolve the first Console error or missing script.
- Check Path Service Behaviour, ground/blocked masks and input references. A valid floor won’t help if the motor is pointing at a missing path service.
- Try flat movement before testing slopes or stacked floors.
- Check walking, running, your own controls and any multi-tile units. Use the traversal guide for height transitions.
- Review custom path consumers: a successful fallback path may stop short of the originally requested destination.
If movement regresses, compare the smallest working scene with your game scene. Send both package and Editor versions with the first error when asking for help.
